In the story, Protagonist Swikirti is a girl of today’s time who loves to party, work in a glamour world of entertainment and one day she lost her grandfather and from that she started making perceptions about Death that God has cheated us, Death is a curse for humans.

While she was trying to move on from her grandfather’s death she encountered the story of  Ashwatthama, son of guru Dronacharya who is said to be alive in this Kaliyug because of his curse of immortality.

It’s a clash between them and somewhere in between, the story starts- how Swikirti’s life took a turning point and she started seeking for something very unusual- “Seeking about Ashwatthama and the way for his mukti from this yug and how he became her baba. Finally, she is able to meet Ashwatthama but how she met is the main conflict of the story.

Author Mini Bhardwaj has also well shown the comparison of Ashwathama’s life in Dwapar Yuga and his life today in Kaliyug highlighting the major issues of the society.
