The Goenkan Grandeur now a part of The IPL 2020

Surat, Gujarat : G.D. Goenka International School, Surat takes immense pride in announcing that the alumnus -Manav Patel has been selected in the Rajasthan Royals as a net bowler. It is indeed a matter of utter delight that his foundation has been from G.D. Goenka International School, Surat, where the school cricket coach recognized his talent of being a good bowler. The incessant hard work and the arduous efforts put in by the coach Mr. Ashish Singh as well as Manav himself, has today; brought him to such a level where it takes years for any person to reach.

G.D. Goenka International School, Seurat also runs the evening sports classes wherein students like Manav are identified and polished for the talent they possess, so that they can pursue their career in the same field.

Manav Patel is right now undergoing his training under the team Rajasthan Royalsfor IPL2020 whichwill commence from 19th September 2020. It includes stalwarts like Jos Butler From England, Jofra Archer from England, Robin Uthappa the explosive Indian Opener, Ben Stokes the English T 20 captain, Steve Smith the number 2 International Batsman, the phenomenal David Miller from South Africa, Indian pacer Jaydev Unadkat and many others.

 The school management and teachers along with his family members are delighted that Manav’s talent was carved well in time, 6 years ago by our Head coach at the school; Mr. Ashish Singh, which today has brought him so close to the pinnacle of his career adding laurels to the schooland stars to his family.
