Installation of Mr. Jai Krishan Jajoo as the ICC State Chair for Rajasthan

Jaipur, (Rajasthan) [India], March 27, 2026: The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), one of India’s oldest and most influential industry bodies, hosted a prestigious leadership installation ceremony on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at ITC Rajputana, Jaipur.

The event marked the formal installation of Mr. Jai Krishan Jajoo as the Chair of the ICC Rajasthan State Council, ushering in a new phase of leadership aligned with the organization’s enduring vision of economic progress and policy advocacy.

Founded in 1925 in Kolkata, the Indian Chamber of Commerce was established with Shri G.D. Birla as Founder and 1st Chairman with a clear vision—to serve as the voice of Indian industry and contribute to the country’s economic self-reliance.

Since then ICC played a crucial role in shaping the country’s industrial policies, actively collaborating with policymakers and government to support industrialization, infrastructure development, trade liberalization, and the growth of small and medium enterprises.

The ceremony was graced by Shri Haribhau Bagde, Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan, as the Chief Guest. He congratulated the newly installed Chair and extended his best wishes and blessings for a successful tenure. He expressed his optimism for strengthened collaboration between the government and private industry, emphasizing the importance of working together towards the state’s continued economic development.

The event was presided over by Shri V. Srinivas, Chief Secretary, Government of Rajasthan.

He stated that Leadership in institutions like ICC is not just about representing industry, it is also about shaping the interface between governance and enterprise in the state.

ICC Rajasthan State Chair, Mr. Jai Krishan Jajoo also shared his vision. He stated that it’s an honour to take on this responsibility at a time when Rajasthan is poised for accelerated growth. Our focus will be on strengthening industry–government collaboration, enabling innovation, and creating an ecosystem where businesses can thrive sustainability.

Senior ICC leadership, including Dr. Rajeev Singh, Director General, ICC, Mr. Debmalya Banerjee, Regional Director (North), along with key members of the ICC Rajasthan State Council, Manuj Goyal, Brinda Rungta, Ravi Poddar, Puneet Talesara, Raj Utmani, Ravi Goenka, Sarvesh Agarwal, Saurabh Gupta, Sheenu Jhawar, Uday Parnami, and Vigyan Lodha, ICC members and other business leaders of the state were present in the function

The evening concluded with a thank you note by Mr. Manuj Goyal, Co-Chair, ICC State.
