Celebrating Indian Culture: Infosys Foundation – Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Cultural Outreach Week Concludes with Enthusiastic Participation

Navi Mumbai, (Maharashtra), [India], June 15, 2024: The Infosys Foundation, in collaboration with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, proudly concluded the “Infosys Foundation – Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Cultural Outreach Program” on June 13th, 2024. Held at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan auditorium in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, the week-long event from June 7th to June 13th witnessed an overwhelming response from the community, celebrating India’s rich cultural heritage.

The event commenced with an inspiring inauguration featuring a Dhol Tasha performance, symbolizing unity through Maharashtra’s historical musical traditions, followed by a mesmerizing Bharatanatyam dance by students of the GVRNK foundation. Pandit Sanjeev Chimmalgi’s rendition of Abhang devotional songs set a spiritual tone for the evening.

The week concluded with a spectacular Kathiawad dance by the Saptak Folk Dance Group on June 13th, leaving the audience spellbound. Each subsequent day offered unique cultural experiences.

Ms. Aparna Ramachandran, Program Coordinator and spokesperson for Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, shared her thoughts, saying, “This cultural outreach program has been a remarkable success, uniting the community through the celebration of our diverse traditions. We are grateful to Infosys Foundation for their support and to everyone who participated in making this event memorable.”
